Being a first time parent, I'm unaware of when children become old enough to smile and say "cheese" for the camera. But, I can tell you with great certainty that it is not at age 17 months.
We had the pleasure of visiting with some of my dearest friends from high school over the weekend - two of whom I had not seen in 14 years.
As no reunion is complete without photos, we tried to get one. Below are the results of trying to photograph four old friends and a six month old, a 15 month old, two 17 month olds, and a 4 year old (who I'm sure wondered what she did to deserve this.) The first photo is probably the best and it rapidly declined from there.
Notice in the foreground of this final photo that sweet baby E has managed to wiggle free and make a run for it with Baby Zog's sippy cup. I love knowing that my son isn't the only sippy cup snatcher out there!
